A Visit from Todd Ramsay

We were fortunate enough to have the creator of Yeti Farm Creative make a special visit to our school this week as a guest speaker. He spoke to us about his experience in the industry, how his career path unfolded for him, and how he got to where he is today. As with most success stories it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows in his career, and it was very beneficial to hear his story. His experiences in the industry and the presentation as a whole was a great experience, and I am very thankful that CAT has a good relationship with someone like him. It was awesome to have someone who owns his own animation studio come speak to us about his career, the path he had to take to get there, and the ups and downs he experienced in getting to where he is. However, I think for me, the best part about having him there was when he told us about the process of pitching ideas to get a show greenlit. For someone like myself, who is pursuing a career in animation because my dream is to create my own series, it was awesome to get some information on how that process works, and to get an idea of what they'll be looking for when I am ready to pitch my ideas to a production company. So here's a huge thank you to Todd Ramsay, for his time, sharing his story and providing some wisdom to us all, as well as a thank you to Sean Ridgway for providing us with that opportunity.

Where it All Begins

    Hello all,

Welcome to my blog! My name is Braydon, and I am a 2D Animator. This space was created with the intention of having an online portfolio easily accessible for anyone interested in seeing what I am capable of doing, and how I progress throughout my career in 2D animation. I will be continuously uploading my latest and greatest creations, and updating you with my progression in this industry. I'm very excited to share with you all my creative capability, and show you my improvement as I complete my education at Centre for Arts and Technology and start a career in this industry. I appreciate everyone for taking the time to look at my art work, and I hope you enjoy what you see!

    Thank you,

    Braydon Holloway
